On-Site VBC Parking Options
Propst Arena is part of the Von Braun Center (VBC) complex at 700 Monroe St. in downtown Huntsville. The venue provides several dedicated on-site parking areas, all priced at $15 per vehicle. These lots and garages offer convenient access and include ADA-accessible spaces in every location. Key options include the Monroe Parking Lot/Box Office (P3), accessible directly from Monroe Street and ideal for Propst Arena events. The covered South Hall Parking Garage (P2) provides indoor access to all VBC venues and is entered from Clinton Avenue via Pollard Street. Additional surface lots such as Saturn Ballroom Parking Lot (P1) and Pollard Parking Lot (P5) are also available off Clinton Avenue. The VBC is cashless, accepting only card or mobile payments.
City of Huntsville Parking Options
The City of Huntsville operates nearby public parking that serves as a more affordable alternative, typically $5 during major downtown events. The Monroe Street City Parking Garage (P4) sits directly across from the VBC Box Office and offers excellent proximity to Propst Arena, with entry from Clinton Avenue. Other city lots like Parking Lot K (P6), also accessed from Clinton Avenue, provide additional options. These facilities often feature attendants during events to guide drivers. General city garage rates outside events are $0.50 per hour (max $4 daily) with the first 30 minutes free. It is generally not recommended for event attendees due to potential enforcement, limited availability, and the preference for structured lots to avoid towing or walking long distances in busy downtown traffic.
